Firefighters Hold Food Drive for Humane Society

The Parkersburg Fire Department will be hosting a pet food drive to benefit the Humane Society of Parkersburg. The event will begin on Monday December 5^th and run through Friday December 23^rd. Donations of any items for pets will be accepted, including pet toys and cleaning supplies. The Humane Society of Parkersburg has a detailed list of items they need on their website at www.hsop.org. The list can be found under the donate tab.  Donations can be taken to any of the six fire stations in Parkersburg.

• Station #6 – 2311 Camden Ave. – 304-424-8476

Donations should be factory sealed and left in the care of the firefighters. If you stop by one of the fire stations and the firefighters are away dealing with an emergency, please call the Fire Chief’s office at 304-424-8470 to ask which station has someone available to accept the donations. These donations will help the Humane Society of Parkersburg support the animals in their care.
