Fire Department promotes one

The Parkersburg Fire Department proudly announces the promotion of Firefighter Matt Geary from Private to Lieutenant. Lt. Geary was promoted yesterday with Mayor Tom Joyce performing the honors. Lt. Geary is a 15-year veteran of the fire department and a life-long resident of Parkersburg. He’ll be stationed at Fire Station 6 on Camden Avenue. Lt.
