Fire Department to give entrance exam.

The Parkersburg Fire Department will begin taking applications for the position of probationary firefighter on February 1, 2017. Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 3, 2017. Applications are available at the Fire Chief’s office on the 1^st floor of the Parkersburg City Building. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age at the time of application. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary to set for the exam. The Civil Service Commission will administer the test on March 23, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Parkersburg South High School Cafeteria. Check out our employment tab for more information.
